Information You Submit
Search terms
A name, place, or other term entered in a search box is sent to the third-party provider that operates that tool. Nodaway County Released Inmates does not keep or log those search terms on its own systems. The provider may process the query under its separate privacy terms.
Messages
If a visitor sends an email or contact message, the information in that message is retained as needed to respond. It is not shared beyond the organization unless disclosure is required by law or a valid legal order.
Automatic Technical Details
Ordinary web systems may record basic technical and usage details when a page loads. These records can include:
- the visitor's Internet Protocol address;
- browser name and version;
- device type and operating system;
- pages viewed and time spent on them;
- the referring site, when one is supplied; and
- the date and time of each request.
Cookies
Cookies may help measure how visitors move through the site and support site features. A browser can reject or remove cookies. Some functions may work differently after cookies are blocked.
How Information Is Used
Collected information may be used to:
- keep pages available and responsive;
- send a search request to the selected partner service;
- measure which resources visitors find useful;
- diagnose errors and other technical problems; and
- display advertising that may reflect general interests.
Outside Websites and Services
Links may lead to the Nodaway County Sheriff's Office, Missouri Department of Corrections, courts, release-record portals, or third-party search tools. Once a visitor follows an outside link, that operator's privacy policy controls its collection and use of data.
Advertising providers may use technology on their own systems to recognize activity across different sites and select interest-based ads. Nodaway County Released Inmates does not control those outside tracking systems.
When Data May Be Shared
Personal data is not sold. Limited information may nevertheless be handled by:
- search partners that process a submitted query;
- analytics providers that measure site use;
- advertising networks that deliver ads; and
- law-enforcement or government bodies acting under a valid legal order.
Reasonable Data Safeguards
Standard administrative and technical safeguards are used to reduce the risk of unauthorized access. No website, network, or storage method is completely secure, so this site cannot promise that a breach will never occur.
Visitors Under Eighteen
The site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under eighteen. A parent or guardian who believes a minor submitted information may use the Contacts page to request deletion.
Your Privacy Choices
Subject to applicable law and the ability to verify a request, a person may ask to:
- receive a copy of personal data held by the site;
- correct information that is inaccurate;
- delete information that no longer must be retained; or
- opt out of processing when that choice is available.
Changes to This Notice
This privacy notice may be revised when site practices or legal duties change. A new version becomes effective when it is posted here with an updated effective date.
